Hell of a 15 year run.

People pay extra for this and the freaking tagline was “7 hours of commercial free football starts now”.

I get it, idiots like me will continue to buy it and watch it. But damn, can we please just keep one thing nice and not ruin it

They'll put 7 commercials and 1 game into the octobox.

TBH I can't stand listening to Scott Hanson anyway. I'm all for listening to a commercial once in a while instead of hearing him. Plus I don't think it will affect me all that much. I always have Red Zone on one t.v. and the other T.V. is a split screen of the 2 games being played in my region. I'll be fine.

I was being dramatic but the whole point of RZ was commercial free. It’s like selling deodorant that doesn’t protect

I agree. We need some new dude from ESPN say something like BooYaa! Touchdown!

As McAfee said: once they found out that NFL Redzone was in 50M homes they realized that they needed to capitalize on this. It'll be interesting to see how to incorporate the commercials.

I know how they can make Red Zone better. When they chime into a game we should listen to the announcers of that game instead of Scott Hanson.

A large pile of mashed potatoes shaped into a monument.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

I checked some free streams and they all mute the audio so you get split screens.

Maybe they could do better than Hanson but he provides some value. It’s more dull without someone narrating what’s going on in different games.
