I was a Bryce guy. But that take is looking better as of late. He played like a legit starter down the stretch of games.

Purdy is going to put up good numbers, regardless of his arm strength. He was drafted the last in his draft class, not the first like Young.
Today I heard that Young already has the worst record in the "common draft era" for the #1 pick of any draft.
Then I saw an early play in the Panthers-Cards game today where the Cards blitz him and Young just tries to force the ball as the pass rushers are bearing down on him. It was a fumble.
Not a smart decision. With his physical deficits, he needs to be a football savant and he doesn't seem to be that, not showing great processing the it does to reading coverages.
If Young doesn't show big improvement this season, Panthers have to think about drafting another QB.
