Green Bay was a top 6 scoring defense last season. Elite run game with Jacobs. They could absolutely win that division.

Put your money down on the Packers then. Mine is on the Lions. At least this year and maybe 1 more. Losing 9 starters on defense was just plain bad luck last season. It happens sometimes and it sucks. I think this group is good enough to get 2 more cracks at it till the window closes. Even with Parsons the Lions have more talent. You can see it if you look and watch.

I honestly thought the Hawks would be in the mix. Especially with a guy like Aden Durde on staff. But according to local reporters, apparently it wasn't even a consideration for them. The GM also has a close relationship with Mike McCarthy. So, the intel is as good as anyone in regard to him.

They've gone out of their way to avoid guys with questionable character. Mike Macdonald wants players who are all about Football & no distractions off the field. He runs a much tighter ship than Carroll.
