Green Bay was a top 6 scoring defense last season. Elite run game with Jacobs. They could absolutely win that division.

Put your money down on the Packers then. Mine is on the Lions. At least this year and maybe 1 more. Losing 9 starters on defense was just plain bad luck last season. It happens sometimes and it sucks. I think this group is good enough to get 2 more cracks at it till the window closes. Even with Parsons the Lions have more talent. You can see it if you look and watch.

I picked the Lions but I could just as easily see Green Bay win it. Either way, I have them both making the playoffs.

I will also point out that Detroit lost both of their coordinators. Which could be a setback for them. At least at the start of the season.

I think adding Micah puts that defense in an elite tier. They already had a good defense.

Minnesota is a good team as well. That's a tough division.

And Micah will bring in his culture and podcast. Can't wait to see how that goes.

It’s going to be interesting to see how another coaching staff deals with Micah and his podcast.

Also I’m interested to hear from Green Bay fans about how their locker room is. Do they have good leadership? I’m asking because Micah does have a tendency to rub people (teammates) the wrong way. Micah is a great pass rusher but he’s not a good leader.

That's because behind closed doors and in the locker room, Parsons is quite the bully and hazer. It will be interesting how this goes and how receptive the fan base up there is when Micah starts acting up.

I honestly thought the Hawks would be in the mix. Especially with a guy like Aden Durde on staff. But according to local reporters, apparently it wasn't even a consideration for them. The GM also has a close relationship with Mike McCarthy. So, the intel is as good as anyone in regard to him.

They've gone out of their way to avoid guys with questionable character. Mike Macdonald wants players who are all about Football & no distractions off the field. He runs a much tighter ship than Carroll.

I really don't think it will be too long before we start hearing some things. :wizard:
