Dennis Northcutt is making me hate the NFL

So, let me break this down nice and slow, to make sure I get the gist.

Northcutt impregnated a woman and he doesn't want the baby.

He sent his cousin to assault the woman.

His goal was to have his cousin punch her in the stomach repeatedly, forcing a miscarriage.

He will play every Sunday unless Goodell lays down the law a la Pacman.

Have I got that right? Somewhere, Rae Carruth wonders how someone could stoop that low.

Wow, you guys sure are quick to judge a person. Northcutt is one of the nicer guys in the NFL. Now that doesn' t mean he's innocent, but I'm certainly going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

This is a guy who as a young man, WALKED AWAY from gang violence where he grew up. Now as a grown man, he's supposedly made a lapse of judgment and ordered his cousin to beat up this pregnant woman?

Besides, why is she suing Northcutt? Where is the cousin in all this? Is he even in jail?

Donald Driver lived out of a car and sold crack cocaine in high school. What's your point?

These are extremely serious allegations thrown in his direction, and he'd better be able to answer for them.

I should be asking you that question. What's your point in bringing up Driver? That he was a misguided young man who turned his life around? That's the exact opposite of a stand up young man who walked away from gang violence, went to Syracuse, took care of his family and younger siblings while in college and after he got his NFL contract. That's Northcutt.

Let's look at the facts here. You have a pregnant woman who claims she was beaten up (had her face disfigured and endangered her unborn child) May 17 at a Hollywood restaurant. First of all, what happened to the assailant? Secondly, this happened May 17th this year. Why is it only coming out now months later? Tell me when the last time an NFL player was involved in ANY kind of public disturbance and it not make the headlines. A guy gets pulled over for driving with a suspended license and it hits the news. You're telling me that a girl gets beat up in a PUBLIC location such as a restaurant in Hollywood and it doesn't hit news until three months later?

Something just doesn't add up.

Innocent untill proven guilty. I'm gonna wait to pass judgement on Northcutt because there are too many scumbags out there willing to make crap up for a lawsuit so they can steal money from someone.
