After the season he had last year before the injury, Brown is one of the last guys you'd expect to be put on the trade block unless they know something about his knee that everyone else doesn't. Cliff Levingston takes this rumor with a grain of salt though.

Running back Ricky Williams will start over Ronnie Brown, who shook off some rust Thursday with 47 yards on 12 carries. Backup running backs Patrick Cobbs and rookie Jalen Parmele seem safe with rookie Lex Hilliard destined for the practice squad.

I can't see Brown going anywhere. Ricky Williams is already in his 30's (old for a RB) and no one else there seems to have the potential pre-injury Brown had. Not to mention the fact that they probably wouldn't get much for him after the surgery he just went through.
