Neither. Dallas is overhyped and a mentally soft team which will once again fail to win in the playoffs. Bengals are an awful team that is wasting a lot of talent that would do wonders for many other NFL franchises.

What does it say about the New York Giants who Cincinnati nearly beat and yet the Giants beat your Redskins? New York beat Cincinnati by 3 points, beat Washington by 9 points, so since they beat Washington by more that must make Cincinnati a better team than Washington.

If anyone ever wanted to see a smartass comment gone wrong, I'd show this to them. Cincinatti lost to a team, that lost to Washington. Yada yada yada, we can play this game all day. Doesn't change the fact that my Skins are 4-1 and staring right into 7-1 thanks to the Rams, Browns and Lions.

You got it backwards. Cincy lost to a team in OT by 3 points, which beat the Skins by 9 points; in some people's worlds (though I'm not quite sure who's) would make them better than the Skins.

The logic is flowing like the Nile right now.

Yeah but if some idiot wants to use that as an explanation, then it can easily be countered that Cincinatti couldn't beat a team that lost to Washington. So if Cincinatti is better than the Skins cuz they almost beat a team that beat the Skins by 6 more points, then you have to consider that they lost to a team by 9 that the Skins beat by 2.

Yeah, dumb argument. I guess some people are just sour that the Skins are finally playing to there potential. It was a long time coming. Good karma for our fans for sticking through some terrible terrible times snice 91.

I like the fact that Daniel Snyder continued to support Jason even during the bad times and his QB has yet to turn the ball over this year.

Yes. Many people don't understand what we Skins have had to go through. No team can wish for worse than having the biggest revolving chair at QB since 91 in the league and having coaches as bad as Spurrier, Norv, Ray Rhoads etc. etc.

It's finally some stability in the franchise over the past 4 years. I know some people think that I'm a cocky SOB, but I'm really just toying with most people in this forum. I'm glad some get it, but it still brings a smile to my face everytime someone thinks I'm being 100% serious.

Did anyone else see Booker's catch? That's one of the best catches I've ever seen.

Yeah but its not like you guys ever had anything to work with.

We had Gus Frerrote who was starting to become a legit NFL QB before he banged his head against a wall and permanently booked his ticket out of DC.

We let Trent Green walk away during an ownership change.

We let Brad Johnson leave in favor of Jeff George.

Don't even remind me of the Spurrier QB's.

I was thinking the same thing. I bet Anderson doesn't stay on our roster for another two years, which is such a waste.

Quick random thoughts:
--Cincy's defense is the better half of their team. Never thought I'd day that about them. That holding call on Housh was total BS and might have cost them a win.

--Detroit is truly awful and needs to blow it all up. Trade whomever anyone else might want except Calvin Johnson, Ernie Sims, Daniel Bullocks, and Kevin Smith. Jon Kitna is now more of the problem than the solution and it's Stanton time.

--Houston learned the hard way why most NFL evaluators consider Sage Rosenfels a quality #2 but not a starter. That one has to really hurt. Not to pile on footballoutsiders, but are they over their proclamation that Fred Bennett is the best CB in the AFC South yet? He wouldn't start on the Lions.

--San Diego is going to struggle so long as they remain passive. For as much talent as they have, they play soft. Miami initiated all the action yestrday, as happened in their other losses.

--Carolina is the best team in the NFC outside of the Giants, and the NFC South could wind up with all 4 teams finishing at .500. Atlanta isn't great but they play smart, they have playmakers on both sides, and their non-divisional schedule keeps looking cakier.

--Seattle, WTF?!?
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

4-1..

this is why I wasn't as mad about the loss to KC..I think that could have been good for our defense and taught them a lesson..KC is a terrible embarrassment of a team, so there's no excuse for losing to them..I'm happy our guys came out and gave such an effort defensively..hopefully we can repeat against Jacksonville, since their offense is similar to Tampa's..
