I know it is a rule and all, but it does seem like a silly rule, no?

I have no link to this story, but mort reported this on ESPN.

Yeah I saw that too


meh not a big deal imo but i guess it is to the nfl.... and I guess the league had another rule for it...

but he was fined 5,000 dollars, talk about expensive skull cap :)

....lol what charities do these fines go to again?

No, when he scored the touchdown and his helmet was off, I didn't really notice it.
