Peters had a pretty disastrous year last year with the Bills. He didn't play up to his 06-07 form when I thought he was the best LT in the NFL.

As a Bills fan I would've liked to get the 22nd instead of the 28th and a 3rd instead of a 4th but with his contract demands I knew that wasn't going to happen.

I don't want to say he's lazy or unmotivated because this is a guy who worked himself onto an NFL roster as an undrafted TE.

With hard work he became one of the better LT's in the game, he should return to that form.

The Bills are really high on Kirk Chambers who has subbed in nicely the past couple of seasons and Demetrius Bell who could be the next Jason Peters sooner than we think.

The Bills are going to have a brand new left side of the line next year with gives me pause but recent rookie LT's have faired really well (ex. Joe Thomas, Marcus McNeil, Jake Long, Ryan Clady) so I'm pretty excited to see who drops to 11 in the Draft. My money is on Michael Oher.

And on another note the Eagles O-line is monstrous. Let's see if they are better in short yardage situations.

I heard about the stats on sacks and heard about coming into the season unfit...
Hopefully after getting paid he should be fine..
He was also the teammate of Shawn Andrews (which should help him with depression)..

One thing I heard though is that even though he wasn't at his best on Pass Blocking best, his Run Blocking was quite phenomenal (well I heard stats saying the Bills averaged around 5.5 ypc on the left hand side compared to the average of around 4.5 ypc)

I liked the deal, now if we can pick up Braylon Edwards for a 2nd and a 5th (I have read recently that the Browns asking price is a 1st or something like a 2nd and a 4th after the Giants turned down the asking price of a 2nd, a 5th and Steve Smith and Cleveland turned down the counter offer of the same picks and Hixon)draft Moreno with our 1st if he falls and if not pick up maybe McCoy in the 3rd to 5th and go with Kenny Britt in the 1st or 2nd round, I am starting to love our chances next season.

I like Boldin, but the asking price is really steep(should be though) and as good as he is, the guy is constantly injured like 3 to 4 games a year.

I don't mind dealing for Chad Ocho Cinco, because unless Cincy stays super spiteful and stubborn, I could see him coming for maybe a 3rd rounder and he would be rejuvinated in Philly. He isn't a TO type cancer, he is just a knucklehead that is sick of being on an abysmal team while all the other pro bowlers on the team get their ticket out of there the first time they ask.

Age wise...Braylon seems like a good age...2 and 5 and Reggie Brown?!

2nd,5th and Reggie Crap would be highway robbery. Browns would be full (Please Use More Appropriate Word) if that deal went down. Why do they hate their offense so much?

Peters Didn’t Know He Gave Up 11.5 Sacks Last Year

Well, now we know why former Bills tackle Jason Peters thought he was worth $10 million per year despite giving up 11.5 sack last season.

He didn’t know he gave up 11.5 sacks last season.

“That’s the first time I’ve heard that stat,” Peters said Sunday during his first press conference as a member of the Eagles. “I don’t recall giving up that many.

“If they charged me with that many, so what?” Peters said. “I’m an Eagle now. If I give up 11.5 sacks, I’m only human. I’m going to give 100 percent on every play.” http://www.profootballtalk.com/2009/04/ ... last-year/

You would think the Coaching staff would inform him each week how many he gave up since he doesn't seem to think it's necessary to keep track.

The Eagles reached the NFC championship game last year with no running game, really. With the additions of Jason Peters, Stacy Andrews, Leonard Weaver and the return of Shawn Andrews, you would hope that's not a problem this year LOL. Imo, they need to draft a runningback relatively high and they need Westbrook to be healthy. I really think they have the potential to have a very good season.

I agree with you. He's a guy I've wanted the Eagles to get for awhile. Same thing with DeSean Jackson last year. I'm not a big college football guy, these are just guys I saw and enjoyed watching play, and thought they would be good for the Eagles.

I was never the biggest fan of Jackson coming out of college...(Not the biggest fan of small receivers with tree trunk legs ala Steve smith) but boy has he proven me wrong... If he improves a bit more..watch out..I still worry about his ego though..

In regards to Moreno..it makes so much sense to take him. can catch, block and run hard...and can also be the heir apparent to westbrook...Unfortunately it just makes way to much sense for reid to go that way..

Buffalo would LOVE for Andre Smith to fall to #11. I think they would take Oher if the top 3 tackles are gone, but they have been looking hard at some of the later-round tackles too. Guys like Cadogan, Kropog, Kemme, Vollmer.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

Westbrook and Moreno would be a nasty duo from game 1. Moreno gets a lot of hype, but I still think he's being slept on a bit.

Yeah, especially behind this offensive line the Eagles have assembled. I have a feeling he might be gone before they pick though. And even if he is available, this is the Eagles, you never know what the hell they're gonna do in the draft.

I'm hoping William Beatty is there when the Bills come up in the 2nd Rd. Good value, great production and will have time to develop behind Walker at LT.

I'm becoming more and more comfortable with the Bills selecting Pettigrew at #11 and going with Michael Johsnon, Larry English or Robert Ayers at #28.
