These past two days felt like a broken high school relationship.

"Dude, I totally broke up with her"

"He definitely didn't break up with me, I broke up with him"

After I post this I heard on ESPN that Brett is still having his arm looked at and if it's minor he may still sign with Minny. The drama!

You think he tried screwing the Jets, then look at what he tried to do to the Pack.

Meh, nothing's happening to the Jets that they shouldn't have expected when they traded for him.

Sources: Favre has surgery

Brett Favre's determination to play quarterback this season for the Minnesota Vikings prompted him to undergo arthroscopic surgery to repair his injured passing shoulder recently, according to two sources. However, Favre remains unable to make a commitment because subsequent throwing sessions indicate the shoulder is not yet 100 percent.

While Favre has now clearly demonstrated his interest in coming out of retirement for a 19th season in the NFL, it seems equally obvious that he will not do so unless convinced he has recovered fully from the torn biceps tendon that undermined him last year with the New York Jets.

Key part

Favre has thrown on a limited basis since the surgery, which occurred last month, but has not felt close to "100 percent" and would not come back unless he makes significant progress, sources said.

So it's not a done deal yet, but definitely looks like he's coming back if his shoulder makes progress.
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

I'm a bit younger so I don't remember, except for last year, the Pack without Brett Favre. At first I was 100% behind Favre, but the more and more info I got and as I got older I realized Favre was being a selfish jerk. I had to say I think TT made the right choice and ditched this guy. Never has an athlete fallen so far in my eyes. He actually manaaged to pass Sammy Sosa which I thought was not possible. I was a little kid when Sosa was in the HR race with Mark Mcguire and I loved Sosa. Then I realized that he was cheating and I went into an actual depression. I hated baseball until the Brewers became competitive and thats a testament to how good the Brewers are for Milwaukee. Brett Favre has fallen from being my hero to a guy I now really just never want to see again. He is worse than TO as far as being a selfish athlete. At least the media will call out TO and say he's a distraction. They all have too much "respect" for Brett Favre to do that. He put himself above the team in Green Bay and he did it again in New York. No athlete is bigger than the team. I've never heard of multiple players on a team coming out and saying this guy's a jerk like Thomas Jones and others did in New York. He put his teammates on every team for the last few years in this position of being grilled over an openfire by the media. He's a distraction for teams he's not playing for.
Thank you for being my therapist on the Brett Favre Disaster.
