Jersey Sponsors or TV Timeouts?

Post#1 » by Munchlaxatives » Tue Sep 15, 2009 1:00 am

You might get annoyed by a sequence of touchdown, commercials, extra point, commercials, kickoff, commercials, 34 yard run, commercials, etc., but you don't know the true effects of TV timeouts unless you've seen a game live compared to college. It baffles me how a team can keep momentum going when they play one minute and spend 3 minutes waiting on a TV Timeout.

Would you be opposed to something like this:

That's a little extreme but I like the question in general. Haven't made up my mind yet.

I say that wearing a Champion logo shirt, a pair of U. of Richmond basketball shorts with not one but two Adidas logos on it, and a Pacifico Claro hat. I'm a freaking walking billboard myself!

NFL games are WAY to long because of the commercial after every play bull a compromise is needed.....

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

I definitely think something needs to be done, but I don't want to see logos the size of their helmets on the jerseys. I would rather watch commercials than see that. We should all just get DVR's then we can just skip the commercials :)
