Cutler brings the Bears back to win again.

Matt Forte still looking pretty crappy, though.

Buffalo has some of the worst play calling in the league. Jauron and co are hopeless if they can't take advantage of having Lee Evans and TO on the same team. With the way Fred Jackson has been running i'm surprised they don't bother going for passes over 10 yards. When they do decide to go for a long pass, it ends up being a 50 yard heave that usually results in nothing.

Man, the Falcons played pathetic football today. Completely outclassed. Still got a lot to work on to get to that elite level. Fortunately we got a bye week right after to really look at what needs fixing.

I do know Turner needs to get back to last year. His fumble today was a real game changer and he doesn't seem to have the same explosion. Maybe that 370 curse is real. :dontknow:

Speaking of the Bengals, Pittsburgh is up 10-0 and will probably win by 40+. Cedric Benson with an awesome line right now: 4 rushes for 0 yards.

First Iceness and now you...the jinx is on today!

It was your home opener, Favre's first game in Minnesota in the regular season as a Viking, you were a 7 point favorite AND the Niners starting RB was out since the 2nd play of the game. All of this, and it took a lucky throw and catch to win the game. Congrats.

And the Niners wouldn't have even been in it were it not for Vikings mistakes. The blocked FG, multiple penalties on the Niner's first TD drive. The Vikings almost lost the game, and then they won it. They should have played better and hopefully this will serve as a wake up call. They were clearly the better team on the field, though - just not the more disciplined one. Not yet.

The Niners shouldn't have been it since they were 0 for 11 on 3rd down and had like 7 three and outs...but they were THIS close to spoiling Favre's first game in Minnesota as a Viking. All I'm saying is, the Vikings are expected to be a Super Bowl contender (and rightly so) this year, and the Niners are not even expected to make the playoffs (at least by media outside of SF). So it was nice to see the 49ers say in it until the end...even if it was a heartbreaking loss.

Even so, I'm not taking it personal...I'm just bitter. There's a difference

But as a SF fan...I've seen Favre do this too many times. And as soon as Minnesota got the ball back, I was screaming at the Football Gods for a pass this time. Just this ONE time! But alas...

I gotta disagree there. Mario, Cushing, and Ryans were the only ones that showed up on defense.

That c*nt Dunta Robinson is sure making a case for the Texans to let him walk.

As long as the turnover margin isn’t worse than -1, Detroit will break the streak at home against a Redskins team that appears thisclose to mutinying their coach. Dan Snyder might make Jim Zorn walk the plank, or at least walk back to Ashburn VA, after Detroit pulls the 20-17 stunner.
