Not unless he can play corner.

Maybe his physical presence can scare opposing receivers from catching the ball?

--WAS is looking to dump Santana Moss and possibly London Fletcher

I understand Santana and I want him gone too, but Fletcher? WTF? I hope this is out of respect so he can play for a contender rather than sulk in this toxic environment but if it's because we want value then we are FREAKING IDIOTS TO TRADE OUR BEST DEFENSIVE PLAYER.

The guy has shown no signs of slowing down. WTF.

Insider told me they were only moving Fletcher if the deal "wowed" them. He also told me they couldn't even get a 6th for Devin Thomas--and they were looking. I heard from somewhere else they called Cleveland about Brady Quinn, no word on the seriousness or the compensation.

Good story on Yahoo now about how Shanahan rebuffed Little Danny Boy, that's why Zorn is still the coach. I worry a little about the source of the blog though, because that guy has quoted me before as an inside source when I most certainly was not. I gave him secondhand info and he ran with it.

God things are so depressing with this franchise. All the good will left by Gibbs has been royally flushed down the toilet.

Have you heard anything about Vinny Cerrato's job security. This guy single handedly set this franchise back 4 years with that god awful 2008 draft. Instead of retooling the offensive line, we picked three colossal busts.

I think Vinny Cerrato is another one of those guys that has incriminating pictures of someone. Like Dan Snyder fellating Tom Cruise or something to that effect. I know most other GMs have little respect for him, though to be fair to Vinny he's a well-heeled puppet for a megalomaniac owner.

I know one of their scouts pretty well and he always talks about how they're wasting their money having a scouting dept. at all because the team will draft whomever Danny Boy wants, based on the 3 college football games Danny watches every year and the Combine. He sees everything as plug & play like a computer game; his team is weak at WR so he drafts 3, his team is weak at DL so he drafts two and signs two others. Everything is reactionary and to the extreme, there is no maser plan or long-term vision at all.

I was shocked when I heard Washington had hired him as the GM. He's a really divisive figure among ND fans. He's undoubtedly one of the best college recruiters of all time. ND from 86-93 was absolutely stacked with NFL talent. But apparently he was also a huge douchebag. I think he went after the top recruits for his ego more than anything. He would brag about having to work only one day a year (signing day) and he wasn't even that far off. I heard stories about the ND coaching staff being out of contact with him for weeks, then he would just show up with Bryant Young and Jerome Bettis on signing day.

Anyways, when the main adjective for a guy is "sleazy," it doesn't bode well when he's your GM.

You gotta wonder how much control he has. Do Oakland and Dallas have GMs?
I'm sorry I haven't been funny. I am not a comedian. I am Lenny Bruce.
