Do you guys think that Gailey will actually help Buffalo get over the hump and back to winning like they were when they went on there 4 Superbowl Apperence run.

No chance. I don't think he makes it 3 years.

I don't think he will do much for the Bills either. Is Trent Edwards a starting QB? Maybe, Maybe Not. But a big factor for him would be who he has at QB.

I think it's a pretty good hire, and I also think it makes them much more likely to get Michael Vick. Gailey ran an offense at GT that featured Reggie Ball at QB, and Ball was sort of Mike Vick Lite. He is exceptional at catering his offensive gameplan to what talent he's got. Look at what he did with Tyler Thigpen in KC--he changed the offense to fit him, not trying to force Thigpen to fit into what they were doing.

Buffalo is on the verge of going way up or way down quickly. They were better than I thought they'd be last season, esp. considering the NFL-record injuries, but they were also kinda built to win last year. If they can bolster the OL and get a legit QB and a pass rusher this offseason they could be dangerous, but I could see them bungle the QB situation and not replace Schobel and then they're pretty much screwed. I'm not a Buddy Nix fan as the GM.

Hey Icness, if the Bills trade for Vick, do you think the Bills would trade Marshawn Lynch or trade a draft pick? If its a draft pick, what round pick do you think is fair for Vick? I'm not sure if I'm sold on Vick as a QB, but I'm also not enamored with any of the QBs in the draft this year, especially with all the needs the Bills need at other positions. I guess I wouldn't mind having Vick for a year or two until the Bills are in position to draft a franchise QB in one of the future drafts.

As for the draft (I know you need to wait until the Senior bowl), in your opinion, should the Bill draft position players, or try to land a future QB? I think the Bills need to shore up their OL and DL, and add try to land another LB (I like Poz, but he's too injury prone). I'm also wondering what defense Chan Gailey will run, a 4-3 or 3-4. I guess it sort of depends on the Defensive Coordinator.

Gailey will be a bigger success in BUFF than hailme or egoli (16 losses in 2009 on resume this pair of "dudley dowrong's") will ever be in KC...

 He fired his O-coordinator for wanting something more complex than a Pee-Wee football offense.
