Done deal: Arizona trades WR Anquan Boldin and a 2010 fifth-round pick to Baltimore for Ravens 2010 third- and fourth-round picks.

I'd say still try for Walter for the Ravens, it gives us another weapon to upgrade the WR corps with, then go re-sign Mason and our offensive upgrade for the short term is complete.

Good trade by the Ravens and they should be set at WR.

The Texans signed him already, 5yrs, $21 million.

Eh, I don't necessarily agree.

It all depends on if we're able to re-sign Mason. Derrick wants a 2-year contract and that seems more than fair considering how well he's played for us (and how he hasn't really regressed much).

About the Boldin move - I love it. Reasonable price (3rd and 4th, while we get back their 5th), legitimate 1st-option WR that we've been missing for so many years, etc.

Boldin
Stallworth
Mason

That's a great WR core and will give Joe all the ammunition he needs for another career year.

I think they still need to add one more young playmaker at WR. Even though Mason hasn't regressed nearly as much as I would have expected him to say five seasons ago he's still going to regress to some extent no matter what.

Even at number three or four on their depth chart I'm not sold on Stallworth at all. He's one more lackluster season away from being out of the NFL.

A 3rd and 4th seems pretty cheap. I thought the Cardinals were adamant about getting a 1st.

Ravens got the better end of this deal.

The Ravens will be a team people should be watching out for come beginning of the season..

I think it is a win-win.

Boldin was expendable because Breaston and Doucet are both studs. They couldn't really tie up a lot of money in Boldin and extend him with the receivers they already have so they had to go out and get some value for him.

Basically they traded Boldin for Rhodes and a third. Great deal for the cards imo, since they won't miss Boldin on the field really.

This is an excellent pickup by the Ravens. They were in need of a #1 WR to compliment Ray Rice and the running game. Boldin will provide toughness and the ability to run after the catch. If they can pair him with a receiver with the speed to stretch the field - look out!
