The Eagles really want Eric Berry. Seems like a match made in heaven.

Yea it does. Let's hope the Eagles are ballsy enough to pull the trigger on this. Berry is the perfect prospect to fill our hole at FS.

According to the draft value chart, we would need 1700 points to move up to the 5th slot. The problem is that pick #24 and pick #37 only add up to 1270. So we would need to offer up possibly a 2nd in next year's draft too.

it would deff help out Philly and there safety hole that they have had since Dawkins left. I think Berry would help them a solid young talented player. But idk if they would trade up to the 5th slot they be giving up a good chunk

The thing is, the value of a high pick is not what it used to be. I think the 24, 37 and maybe a 4th maybe enough. Look at what the Jets paid to go up and get sanchez. People do not want to pay the high salaries these top 10 players get

Yeah, good point. I'm trying to decide if I want to stand pat or move up and get Berry. I think the more players we bring in the better, but I'm tired of them bringing in Quentin Demps-ish players with those picks. I think I'd rather go all out this year and bring in players that will truly impact the team.

^^^ If a player like Berry is available with a decent price why not?!Im a big believer that Id rather have 1 great player than 2 good players (ofcourse potentially that is).
But we are supposedly interested in Earl Thomas as well.
I have no problems with quentin dempsish players when they are not first choices coming into the season..I like what the eages do in the later rounds and go for high potential guys.! But you can't just rely on them going into the season.!
