I think you forgot the Giants, they killed the bears and texans back to back weeks. They look like they may end up getting it together. The best team in the NFC may be the Falcons right now, but I am not really convinced completely about them yet. The AFC has three clear favorites right now. Steelers, Ravens, Jets. They are probably the top 3 teams in the NFL at this point in the season. I think it is a stretch to include the Vikings in a potential W/C race with anyone. They have only beat 1 team so far...the Lions! I know the Lions aren't as bad as they have been, but still they aren't a major win, they are a gimme game. Favre is looking hurt possibly, and everyone who remembers how he played for the Jets the end of '08 knows he is terrible when he is hurt. He has more INTs than TDs still and he is a quarter of the way through the season. I just don't see where they have all of a sudden become a contender. They showed some signs of life last night against a really good Jets team, but they still didn't get the W. Favre isn't just making physical mistakes either, he is making mental mistakes. He couldn't take a snap under center correctly, he couldn't hit wide open recievers, and he threw a pick when it really mattered. He just doesn't seem to have his head in it this year. He couldn't recognize the blitzs the Jets were bringing, and he had a little over two weeks to get ready. I am sorry Vikings' fans but if you look at it realistically, even if Favre doesn't see a 4 game suspension, he still won't take you anywhere.
