^ I didn't think it was that many players (and not just the fans) talking about him, but just go on to twitter and look for #cutler and you'll see current NFL players talking about him.

If quitting on the team = a torn MCL, then you're spot on.

If by torn MCL, you mean sprained, then you're spot on.

Lovie Smith says Cutler has a sprained MCL.

Re: Championship Weekend
I feel bad for the dude. Ive been reading some of the comments and criticism on the internet. Most of it is barbaric garbage by a bunch of p*ssies that havent thrown a football since middle school. Ive never sprained my MCL but I dont hear anyone talking **** on Maurkice Pouncy for hobbeling off the field and standing on the sideline over an ankle sprain. BTW he could bench press Cutler and no one questions his toughness or degrades him. I dont even like Cutler. But people burning his jersey? calling him profane names? Other players **** talkin. What exactly has Kirk Morrison done in the league? People talkin **** because he teared up when his toughness was questioned. Grow the **** up people.
Hmm.... MCL sprain? compared to a high ankle sprain?

Cutler brings some of this on himself by being a general a-hole. Players who generally say and/or do the right things generally get the benefit of the doubt from peers, pundits, and fans. Fair or not, it's true.

If by sprained, you mean torn, then you're spot on. Either way, torn or sprained the guy was too hurt to come back into the game. The center, Kreutz, said he was surprised he even played at all in the 2nd half.
NFL.com - Bears quarterback Jay Cutler suffered a medial collateral ligament tear in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Packers, according to a report by the Chicago Sun-Times.
Chicago hasn't made an official announcement on Cutler's injury. He is expected to undergo an MRI on Monday.
He left Sunday's NFC Championship Game in the third quarter

Yup. I don't recall a lot of uproar when Colt McCoy left last year's BCS Championship with a "dead arm".

Aside from the fact that he's a collegiate athlete and was injured on a clearly defined play they're almost exactly the same...which means that they're almost nothing alike.
I love how internet warriors with no real knowledge of the situation are able to definitively lay claim to how much of a man Cutler is. Torn MCL, strained MCL, etc. doesn't matter because you think he's a douche so it must be true...and if it's not true well he had it coming anyways.

Right, because we both made claims regarding Cutler's manhood.... Oh wait, neither of us did, so aside from the straw man fallacy you just created, you're exactly right.

Right, and I specifically directed the second part to both of you. Oh wait I didn't, making your crying about "straw man" look even sillier. Of course with something as specific and personalized as "internet warriors" I can see how such mistakes were made especially since you two were the only people on the internet discussing the topic.
I shouldn't be, but I am surprised at how easily and completely the media has created a massive story where one does not exist. That it should preempt the games themselves (see ESPN) is quite telling. And no WadeAHolic I did not address this specifically to you so don't worry about pretending to understand messy things like fallacies or basics of argumentation such as what is being said and who it is being said to.

jets need to fire their OC. dude is not clutch in clutch time. the usage of the clock, no-huddle preparation, utterly ridiculous preparation given to a SUPERSTAR like sanchize. SANCHIZE NEEDS TO GO TO ANOTHER TEAM. those coaches cannot coach offense. RIDICULOUS!
