His last game was against Green Bay. He was 21/39 for 168 yds, 2 int, with a QB rating of 43.5.

Was a game that meant nothing to the Bears except to beat the Packers. The Packers had to win to get in the playoffs and only won 10-3. Cutler hasn't done well in Green Bay but he's been solid against them at Soldier Field.

The last 2 games at Solider field against the Packers he has a 78.7 QB rating, 3TD's, 3INT's, sacked 6 times is solid? I suppose you could say that's solid for Cutler.

One thing I didn't understand during the Pats-Jets game is why the Pats tried to rush that FG in before the 2 minute warning. What's the difference between the 2 minute warning happening before the snap or during the FG? They would save 1 second at most but risked missing, which they did but it didn't count.

About 10 seconds would probably come off the clock if they had waited to kick it after the 2 minute warning. Kicking it before the two minute warning saves them the most time and in most cases is the right decision.

I enjoy the Jets loss as much as everyone else for their egos, but I got to give them credit for finding ways to win in the playoffs.

They did end up kicking it after the 2 minute warning and only 3 seconds came of the clock. If they got the snap off right before they would have maybe saved 1 second. I agree with mattbulls that it was a pointless risk. It was one of the few times the Patriots appeared to have been flustered in the last 10 years.

How about going for it on 4th and 13 on the Jets 34 with 5 and a half minutes to go in the 4th? Instead of kicking the FG that would've made it a one possession game, they elected to go for it. Keep in mind, Revis was also injured that play (which is why Brady went to Branch). What would you guys have done?

it was a 52~ yard FG, which is no gimme. Might as well try for the TD, since you have to go back on Defense anyway. If you get a TD, its only a 3 point deficit and there is then more room for error as the Jets march back down, since the Pats could concede a FG and still be in a 1 possession game. If there is no TD, it makes the FG easier to kick should they elect to do that based on the situations then.

Yeah, they were trying to snap it at 2:02 or 2:01 in a rushed situation instead of 2:00 in a calm situation. As soon as Welker, who couldn't get his FOOT out of bounds, didn't get out of bounds it assured the 2 minute warning would be pointless in terms of clock stoppage.

As much as it pains me and my Bears, the Packers are white hot atm.

Steelers D was incredible against the Ravens.

The Saints were also white hot the year that we beat them on our way to the Superbowl.

If by white hot you mean losing to a Redskins team in week 15 who finished the season 5-11.

I've heard you say, Drew Brees was 'the best QB in the league' at that time too. Which is preposterous. Over the 4 games prior to playing the bears (three games he played all of and one he only took limited snaps) he compiled a 74.04 QB rating. 2 TD's 1 INT 54% completion percentage 628 yards. That's poor.

GB has now won four straight games. Over those games, Rodgers has compiled an 125.4 QB Rating. 11 TD's 1 INT 72.6% completion percentage 1149 yards while rushing for a TD of his own.

There's a reason Rodgers is getting the love he is. This stretch he's having has been insane.
