n the super bowl that year?

i remember that game very well and i was pissed because at the time my tv went out so i had to watch using nfl.com play by play. the pats were so close to wining that game, iirc they were up big by the halftime. anywyas, my qestion is if they won that game, would they have won the super bowl that year against the bears? how close or not close would that game have been?

NO. the bears wouldve won. the patriots have had literally ZERO chance since the last superbowl . . . until now. so luckily they lost. better to have lost in the semifinals, than the finals.

Had the Bears and Patriots played in Super Bowl 41 I would have had my money on the Patriots.The AFC Championship was pretty much the Super Bowl that season.Plus the Patriots beat the Bears in 2006 in the regular season.
