Steelers Letting Ward Go
While Hines Ward is more than willing to restructure his contract, the Pittsburgh Steelers are planning to allow the veteran to go elsewhere.

Re: Steelers Letting Ward Go
They dont need him, he is to old and his time has come and gone. Yes it is a shame for him to have to walk away from the Steelers but its all a business and not necessary for them to keep him. Im guessing he will retire.

One of my least favorite players ever. I hope he goes to the Raiders or something.

Re: Steelers Letting Ward Go
He's trying to play the "I'll come back for less money" card but it sure seems like the Steelers don't care. If I were him I would get in great shape and wait for an injury to Wallace or Sanders and then go back to PIT.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

He has ties to Georgia, and the Falcons could use more depth on offense.

I want him to come back so he can take another beating like he did last year. Dude got jacked up more than anybody in the league.

Moss has been able to generate interest from three teams. I'm sure Ward can find a new home as well.

Ward should be able to find another team. His ultimate goal to coach at UGA so I hope he eventually gets the opportunity.
