I turned the game off at halftime at 24-0. I wake up to the broncos destroying the chargers and Rivers throwing 4 picks. I hate when I assume the game will be over and I miss crazy finishes.

Rivers has really fallen off the last couple years. As recent as 2010 he was an elite, top 5 QB. Now he's in Romo/Vick/Cutler territory.

Big ups to Denver though. Great comeback. That's why you go out and get a QB like Peyton Manning.

Mike Holmgren won't be finishing the job he went to do in Cleveland.

New Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam III said Tuesday that Holmgren was out as team president, although the Super Bowl-winning coach will remain with the franchise to help in the transition.

Juan Castillo's offense-to-defense coaching experiment backfired in Philadelphia, costing the defensive coordinator his job.

Castillo was fired by Eagles coach Andy Reid on Tuesday and replaced by secondary coach Todd Bowles. It was the first time Reid dismissed a coach midseason in his 14 years in charge.
