Word here in Jax is that Dave Caldwell is going to bring Greg Roman over with him to be the head coach. Honestly the only coach I'd like to see kept is Jerry Sullivan.

I saw the Roman rumors this morning. Makes sense, he deserves a shot and he's cheap enough to dump after a year or two if he stinks.

Never understood why Mularkey got another shot, he was clearly overwhelmed in BUF.

Personally, I think Roman is a bit overrated, but it will be interesting to see what he's like when he's not behind the shadow of Jim Harbaugh.

I think it's way too early to give Roman a chance because his team hasn't gotten to the point of opening up that offense yet.
