Pro Bowl solution fix

Post#1 » by guest81 » Wed Sep 17, 2014 4:51 pm

Just a quick idea.

Have the two conference losers play the weekend before the superbowl. Give the winner an extra money bonus.

Might give the conference loser's fanbase something to be excited about.

Third place isn't all that exciting. At that point there's nothing left to play for. It'd be just as bad as a Pro Bowl game because no one would want to get hurt. If these teams are good enough to get that close, they aren't going to risk their best players to a long term injury that hurts their chances next season.

That would be worse.

The Pro Bowl is fine as is.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

the only positive benefit this could result in is that the conference championship games would be unbelievably competitive as teams fight tooth and nail to avoid playing in the third place game
