Will he make them better? Get them to the playoffs?

Ryan's a good coach. The D in Buffalo is already really good, he could make them even better. But he needs to get someone in there to run the offense. They actually do have some talent on that side of the ball, although after Manuel's benching and now Orton retiring they may have a big hole at QB...

He could sign Sanchez, and it would be interesting when they play the Jets in week one (this was mentioned by Peter King in his article today).

Bills hire Rex Ryan as next coach

They still have no QB and they need one badly. I'm not to sure why Rex chose Buffalo He should've went to somewhere with an established QB like Atlanta it would have been interesting if he were still on the market if the Broncos would have been interested

Ryan should have never signed with a team that doesn't have it's QB situation figured out.

He has gone from promising Super Bowls to just making the playoffs with the Bills.

There's a chance that Atlanta didn't have Ryan as their top choice, so he signed with Buffalo because they were willing to get the deal done now. You can't always choose your preferred place of employment, especially when there are others chomping at the bit to get the same spot.

Maybe Bills fans can answer this question. Although Emanual collapsed this past season and now Ryan becomes the Bills HC, what are the chances that Emanual can recover his confidence and perhaps get back the job he squander in the first place?

This is a much better situation for Rex.
