Need to blame Seattle's defense

Post#1 » by splashbrothers » Mon Feb 2, 2015 4:21 am

As great as they were overall in last 2 years, dont forget they gave up 4 Touchdowns to Brady. They deserved to lose since the defense is what got them to the superbowl

Seahawks defense got worked over. Would have given up over 30 if Brady hadn't decided to throw it right to them on the first INT.

and the Seahawk offense too, for not moving the ball with 7 minutes to go. Several home run inc passes but one complete to Kearse... I thought Al Michaels would go "He did what?" again. The DC is coming to Atlanta, no telling where the OC is going lol. Wilson had like 1 or 2 complete passes before half.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

A great defense, but not close to one of the best ever. Hopefully people will realize this now.

The D didn't play well because of Jeremy Lane's injury. Brady threw about 200 yards and 3 TDs on Lane's replacement, Tharold Simon.

Most of the secondary played through injuries, just read that Kam played with a torn MCL. I mean you could clearly see they weren't their usual athletically dominant selves but still gave the Hawks a great chance to win. I don't think you can blame this on defense at all.
