Eagles opening up a crap ton of cap space. Wonder if they'll make a move for Suh or Murray....

im excied to see if chip going down as a stubborn college coach who tried to put a stamp onto the league or if he will be revolutioning the NFL.

imo, the bills win this trade. shady is top 5 runnin back in an OFF year, with less work to do than the year before

I don't think it's that bad of a deal for Philly. You don't want to pay RBs since it's easy to find good ones and they break down quickly. Also with Chip's system and their OL you could probably plug in any decent back and get 1200 + yards. I think Chip's philosophy is to try to get as much talent as possible on D because his offensive genius can grind out 20+ PPG with just about anyone as long as the QB and OL is good.

Key is, Chip needs his QB. Can't win without one in this league. I see him making a big push for Mariotta to run his system. We'll see if it works. As a Skins fan I hope he tanks miserably but so far after two years he's already won 20 regular season games so it's clear the guy can coach.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

true. chip obviously just dumped 11 million aka "the modern day barry sanders", as he was called last offseason, for a duck comming of his 2nd acl tear.

But i agree, for his system he doesnt need to have shady. And it was a wise business decision to get rid of him as well. What i dont understand is this. HE couldve easily try to move up for mariota with shady and the eagles 1st. Kirko is a nice prospect tho

shady is probably the real winner in this move, cuz he will run in a rex ryan offense and aims for 2k

There is a good chance that the Eagles already thought about using McCoy as a way of moving up in the draft. Since it did not happen, there is also the chance that the other teams weren't willing to play ball.

With McCoy in Buffalo, I would love CJ Spiller to reunite with Chan Gailey on the Jets.
