Post#1 » by Howling Mad » Thu Jun 21, 2007 3:18 pm

OK wow I just heard on first take...

Jacque Jones could be involved in a trade including Griffey jr... WOW

They also reported Grif has been unhappy and has REQUESTED for a trade. Adding that he would welcome a trade to the CUBBIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Texas interested in Jones. Also says Cubs may want to dump Floyd if it is possible to get Griffy at the deadline.

I would unload millions of potential children in my pants if Griffey made it to Chicago.

Also, this would only further the fantasy of A-Rod opting out and joining back up with his old teammate (JR) and manager (Lou). At that point I wouldn't even care that Soriano was leading off.

LF Soriano
CF Pie
1B Lee
SS A-Rod
3B A-Ram
RF Griffey Jr
2B DeRosa
C Bowen
P

It would be nice to stop the revolving door of players in RF and stick with one guy.

What! Trade Jacque Jones? I think not.
Jacque Jones is going to be a star in this league for one day. He will have a 3 hit game one day.

Bring in Griffey
(Sorry Matt)

I'd take Griffey for sure, but damn, he's 37 and counting. He's really producing though...but for some reason I was under the impression he was only around 35.

It would make sense for the CUbs to get him. An injury prone, old player is their specialty.

I have a right to defend my team.
You just came in here trolling this board saying the minute we get KGJ he will get hurt at Wrigley and you are telling me to stop talking crap.
Do you see me going into the White Sox board trolling?

I went to the Cell on Friday and I saw tons of Cub fans getting heckled by the Sox fans.

White Sox are garbage, so its only fitting that their fans are garbage too. I learned this at a very young age.

I can think of four times off the top of my head, you thrashed the sox for no reason, and I did just what you did when I said Ken would break he's arm.

But of course I'm a pecie of **** beaner too disrespect the great cubbie bears, I just flame you back when you start, but when I do it back too you, I'm not worth the space that my body consumes.

Yep the sox are garbage.
