What chances do you give the Cards in being a contender? Please post your thoughts viewtopic.php?f=145&t=1399757#start_here

Love their D. If Palmer stays healthy I think they're a top 4 team in the NFC but not good enough to leapfrog to Super Bowl status(Seahawks, Packers, and Cowboys are all better IMO).
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

They lost some punch on D, notably with Bowles leaving. Safeties are not good (I say that as a Tony Jefferson fan too) but Bowles nicely covered that hole up. Remains to be seen. Offense should be better. Looks like a 10-11 win team if the D creates turnovers. Going to need a big game from Palmer to win any playoff games though.
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

Id have to agree with you. I think the top 3 teams in the NFC are Seahawks, Pack and Cowboys, but right after that I can see ppl making an argument for Arizona. Their defense is really good and they have weapons on the offensive end to make plays on a consistent basis. The key certainly is keeping Palmer healthy, him getting injured last year deff ruined Arizona last season and it just goes to show you how important he is for the teams success. I see them coming in 2nd in the NFC West and being that 5th seed in the playoffs

They just hired the first female coach in football, good for them.
