dat marshawn lynch doe, dat defense doe.. excuses, excuses

the best young qb in the nfl is african american, not white, and that rubs a lot of people the wrong way.. i could have listed even more stats that show wilson being better than Luck but i felt it wasnt neccessary

bottomline paying andrew luck 50 million dollars when he is no better than cam newton is foolishness

Okay now I'm convinced you don't even watch football.

18 of Lucks 40 td's last year came inside the 5 yard line lol... what a joke, the colts were up 30-3 on the jags in the 4th quarter and Luck was still in their padding his stats... he wouldn't be able to pad those stats in the nfc west with Robert Quinn, Patrick Peterson, and the 49ers of the past 3 years or so... btw the rams and cards have destroyed luck in his career

So freakin what? Luck led all qb's in 40+ and 20+ yard plays last season, but you don't see me using that argument because it's absolutely futile. TD's are td's regardless of how someone scores them, even if you retract those 18 he still ends up with more passing td's than Wilson...

I'm done arguing with you dude because this clearly isn't going anywhere. Any guy that compares Luck to Cam in terms of overall skill isn't getting any attention from me. Good luck digging yourself a bigger hole.

I will say Russ is a lot closer to Luck than people on these boards are giving him credit for. Yes, Luck is slightly better as a pocket passer. But that also has a lot to do with the fact that Russ is 4-5 inches shorter & occasionally has trouble seeing over his line. But he is still a good pocket passer. There are plus & minuses that favor each player.

Luck blows Newton out of the water. Newton is a fairly average passer, and now he's proving to be injury prone. His D carries him.

Luck on the other hand is the Colts. He doesn't have a particularly good OL, has basically one good WR in Hilton(who was a no name mid round draft pick), and a D thats pretty "meh." If Luck doesn't put up those kind of #s the Colts have no chance.

He's also a big time playoff performer. Didn't he lead the biggest or one of the biggest comebacks in playoff history in just his second ever playoff game? And he won a road playoff game in Denver(one of the toughest places for opponents to play, look at Tom Brady whos career #s in Denver playoff games suck).

As far as padding #s, every great QB to some extent pads his #s to some degree. I mean when Manning had those monster seasons, how many times did he throw 2 TDs in the 4th quarter in games his team was already up by 21? Thats football. The reason his team even has those big leads is because of his play.

By the end of this season, Luck will be THE best QB in the NFL without question. Freaking Colts are so lucky getting back to back franchise superstar QBs, when some of us can't even get one. :(
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.
