Well so much for my unwarranted Bradford optimism. I can no longer watch this team with him at the helm.

About damn time Jordan Matthews had a good game. And as usual Bradford only played one half of football...

Sammy B looked like a real life QB today.

NFL Week 9

Post#24 » by ATL Boy » Mon Nov 9, 2015 4:45 pm

I'm starting to give up hope for the wildcard at this point. Schedule gets tougher, and we don't look like a good football team on offense anymore. I still have hope, don't get me wrong, but This L might haunt us.

Amen, beyond pissed. If they can't beat a depleted Niner team with a low rated starter at qb, hard to have confidence in them... gonna be a long ass 2 weeks.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

Damn, what a gambling week. My biggest bet was Oakland +5.5 and I kept thinking I was going to barely lose it. Then it was tied, then a 7 pt game..this kept going on....and then at the end...the Pittsburgh receiver breaks for the end zone, down the sideline...oh no, I'm going to lose by 1.5 points, but luckily he gets tackled at the 2 and they kick a fg.

Also had smaller bets on Tennessee and Carolina which hit and the Skins +15 which missed by a couple points.

But the other interesting one was Philly/Dallas, and I had Philly -3 and the over and a parlay with both of those....and at the half nothing looked like it would hit. Then a high scoring second half, OT, and a td win in OT made them all hit.

Those two crazy wins (Oakland and Philly) were nice.

Yes, I know everyone was interested in my Sunday gambling activity, so I thought I'd fill everyone in.

Go Chargers! I'm ready for them to run the table and get in the playoffs!

I missed my parlay this week by one game. I got Vikes, Steelers, Pats, Bills, and Giants on their spreads. The lone game that I missed was the Falcons game...which is actually the second time this season I've missed a ticket because of Atlanta.

I always do huge parlays for $3....I have missed some parlays by one game with 6-8 teams that would have paid 200-500 on a $3 bet. You can do that forever and if just one hits, it pays off, but even if none ever do, it's only $3 a week.

And I'm pissed...at the last minute I changed my Beat the Commish pick from the Giants to the Bucs after reading some stuff...I even hesitated thinking "never change your first instinct" but I did anyway and missed that one.

Yeh I always do the teaser cards for $2-$5. Already hit one this season for $150 this season so I'm not worried about losing out the rest of the way. I've been close a bunch of times though so its definitely frustrating.

Crazy as this might sound, the Vikings might actually be the best team in the NFC North. Damn good D, electric playmaking WRs, a blossoming young star at QB, and the best RB in football.

I'm not counting RODGAZ out just yet but the Pack have issues.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

How do teasers pay off that much? Are you talking about teasing a bunch of games? I remember teasing games you just have to get two for even money. Also it used to be standard to move spreads 6 points and now the first option I see on the site I use is moving them 4.

I live in Reno, NV so I've got the luxury of working with a bunch of different teaser cards (1/2 point teaser, 1 point teaser, ect). The spreads are alot harder to predict hense the larger payouts. I'll try and take a picture for you next week when I head down to the casino...it'll give you an idea what the odds look like.
