Luck out 2-6 weeks with lacerated kidney

Post#1 » by bwgood77 » Tue Nov 10, 2015 8:47 pm

I know Hasselbeck did well last time Luck was out, but can he do it again and are the Colts going to win that division? We might have a team with a losing record hosting a playoff game again while a pretty good team gets left out of the playoffs.

Same injury that ended Keenan Allen's season isn't it?

I might be worried if I was a Colts fan because they're not a very good team even with Luck, but the AFC South is so incredibly horrid(damn you, Texans!) that they can and probably will still win it. The thought of a losing team making the playoffs is sad, but best of luck(no pun intended, I swear) to them because I think I'd prefer the higher draft pick and increased likelihood of Rick Smith and Co. being fired.
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

Colts should just deactivate Luck for the remainder of this season.

The local Indy media is expecting no fewer than 4 weeks missed. And as several media doctors have noted, the healing process is basically do nothing until fully healed. That means he'll be out of game shape.

It stinks because he finally had a good game. That Indy/JAX game in Week 14 is probably for the division, maybe the Texans get involved if they can get some bodies healthy.

Colts should have just sat him the whole year until he was healthy, because clearly from day one he was playing hurt. Just criminally negligent on the Colts coaches/FO part.
