ESPN article: future NFL Hall of Famers on each team

Post#1 » by bleu » Wed Aug 3, 2016 6:10 pm

I found this ESPN article via Bleacher Report this morning and I found it pretty interesting. Bill Barnwell talks about how there are usually around 50 Hall of Famers in the league at a time, and makes predictions for players of every team. What do you guys agree on? Where did he miss? I'm not sure how accurate a few of his picks are, but it's an entertaining read if nothing else.

Wilson, Thomas are going to be locks. I could see Sherman getting consideration.

We haven't had any hall of famers in big - D for 17 years. Dez might be someday if he can stay healthy and keeps his head on straight.

Like Marshawn, Dez is too much of a head case for potential voters. But, Jason Witten should get legit consideration, no?

Sure, I guess. Witten would our first, and one and only hall of famer without a ring. feels weird to me. I say no because he doesn't have at least one ring. We have high standard in Dallas. Or should I say used to.

Witten seems like a sure fire HOF'er to me. It will probably take a few monstrous seasons from Dez to get much consideration though.

I can also name at least 5 players from the Cowboy past that should be in the hall of fame though.
