If you could only live in or visit a city in a division other than the one you live in now, which one would you choose?
Lets say you had to move to a city in one of the NFL's divisions, and could only visit or move to other cities in that division, which do you choose and why?

This is a tricky one to stick a poll to. I'd live in Minneapolis because it's a great city that is doing very well economically. I'd visit NYC because it's freaking NYC and I love it there. I guess I'll go put in my vote for NFC North, but just don't let it be misunderstood that I'd ever consider living in the respective crapholes of Chicago, Detroit or Green Bay.

That's an interesting choice. I've lived in Minneapolis (St Louis Park) and it was a very cool city but I just can't really handle that weather. I've only heard good things about Chicago (other than weather) so I'm surprised you say that.
For me, since I currently live in Austin, it would be easy for me to pick the AFC West, because I've lived in Denver (awesome city) and San Diego (great weather and beach) or the NFC West (Phoenix...grew up there and love it there), San Francisco seems like it would be cool, Seattle seems like it would be great, and LA is fun other than traffic. This kind of feels like a cop out since I have lived there though....both west divisions.
Since I live in Austin, you could maybe throw out the NFC East (3 hours outside of Dallas) and AFC South (3 hours from Houston). I don't think I could live in the north, so that leaves the AFC South, and New Orleans seems like a cool place to visit, and Atlanta is pretty cool (visited once) and I'm sure Tampa Bay would be cool and Charlotte is likely a great place to live based on what I've heard, so this division really gives you a lot.
But then you get to the AFC East. Miami, New England, NY, and Buffalo? You have great weather in Miami (though I don't like humidity), Boston is a cool city, I've never been to NY, but that seems like it would be great to visit or live in, and even Buffalo seems like a good place to visit, though I'd probably live in Miami, and visit the other places though.

nfc west is the easy answer. sf, la, seattle are all world class cities, i can tolerate arizona for other 3..

Half Eastern European and half Scottish descent here. I have no use for hot weather. I can barely enjoy warm weather. I rereread the original question though and now I think I understand it correctly. It would have to be one of the eastern divisions and I'm leaning toward the NFC East. I have my NYC so I could live there, plus the option of visiting Philly or DC which is cool and Dallas is far enough away to offer a stark contrast to my surroundings.
As far as Chicago goes, it's fine, I guess. I live 5 hours from there and 6 from Toronto and will choose Toronto over Chicago every single time. Chicago's identity seems to completely revolve around trying to catch up to NYC or prove it's better. It's not.

Oh yeah, Toronto is great...that's the main reason I said Buffalo would be cool, thinking I could visit Toronto, but maybe according to the specificity of my question, I couldn't.
Dallas is a cool city (though Austin is better), so the NFC East would be pretty nice having NY and Dallas. I don't know if you would not like the west coast, but the cities in the AFC West don't get THAT hot. SD is alway between 60 and 80 (unless you think of 80 as hot), Denver is PERFECT weather. Almost always sunny, yet it snows, never gets too hot, then you have skiing a little ways away and Boulder is nice. Then KC probably isn't too hot, though I don't know that it's a good place to live or visit, and Oakland may not be that nice, but the Bay Area overall is.
But it sounds like you prefer the cold over a little warmth.
I also left the poll where you could change your answer, so you could change to NFC East if you want.

I think the division I definitely wouldn't want to live in is the NFC North, Minneapolis is decent, but doesn't make up for the rest of the cities.
NFC and AFC West would be a tough choice, so I'm going to go AFC East.
Lots of diversity, there's Miami a fun always warm weather beach area, then New York City, which no one can hate I'm pretty sure, and Buffalo which is actually a nice place. Then Boston one of the coolest cities in the country.

Ah yes. So you did. Now I reside in the NFC East. I suspect nobody will be choosing the AFC North. Lol.
I went to Buffalo for the first time on my way to Toronto last fall and frankly, it wasn't the depressed mess I expected. It was gritty, but it wasn't a ghost town like some of the other rust belt towns. Toronto is fantastic.
For me, 80 degrees is really starting to push it.
If anyone is from there and can correct me, feel free, but I believe KC is nothing but unbearable heat alternating with cold, hard winters with tornadoes in between.

I would go to the NFC North. Living in Maine I like the 4 seasons, being outdoor and fly fishing for native brook trout. Appears I would have all kinds of options in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan.

And you can go ice fishing or ice skating on the lakes in Minnesota. I don't imagine you'd be doing the latter, but it is interesting seeing all the lakes their freeze over in the winter. I think the worst part about Minnesota was, that at some point, the snow on the ground just freezes over, and then every time it snows after that, it freezes, so you just have ice all over the place until almost April. It's not fun to walk on every day.

I'd only want to live somewhere on the West Coast. I really like San Diego & the Bay area. Denver & KC are too hot & cold climate wise for me. Would never live in places like Phoenix year round.

This one is sooooo easy for me. AFC West. Kansas City is one of my favorite cities in America. The Bay area is, well, wonderful. San Diego is a little warm for me, but still a super cool city. Denver is always nice, and pretty similar to Utah.

To me, it's just got a very nice feel to it. It's a beautiful city, the people are nice (and diehard about their sports), it's got a lot of culture and good music, and best of all, I'm convinced there is nowhere with better barbecue.
The weather isn't the greatest, but it's not terrible either. I'd prefer to just visit KC rather than living there, but I wouldn't mind living there either.
