My Cowboys will be a top 3 offense this year. Who the hell knows, we may just get lucky and win in spite of cancer Jerry Jones. Its not like we don't have talent.

So far I'm still hanging on with my bold picks. Little worried about my Jaguar sleeper pick. That division is so bad though I still have a shot.

You're right on the damn money, BJJ. The one thing you may not have been accounting for with Jacksonville is that Gus Bradley doesn't seem to be a very good coach, even though their talent level should have them looking good in that sorry division.
Jerry isn't a cancer. He just isn't a very good GM. I think he's been making more shrewd decisions about the Cowboys in recent years. One think you can say about him that you can't say about every owner in the league is that he cares about wins, not dollars. That alone, probably puts him ahead of a third or more of the owners in the league.

Jacksonville is really my sleeper pick in the AFC this year. I may be a year ahead of myself with this pick.

That isn´t too bold imo...

My predictions:
1. Chiefs will be 4th in AFC West
2. Texans will reach the conference championship
3. Giants will win the NFC East

So far, so good.

Everything´s still possible... but I doubt it though :nonono:

I'm not so much disappointed with this young Jacksonville team as I am with Bortles. I thought he would take a step forward and be a much better performer and producer. Its not happening and its looks like I was wrong with this sleeper pick. Plus I took Robinson in 17 of my 56 fantasy leagues. I'm not getting the results I was looking forward. And you are right about Jerry. There is no doubt he wants to win, win big and has always wanted to. Goes for broke year in and year out. That's why we were in such salary cap hell 3 years ago. The person that really deserves the credit here is his son Stephen the past 3 years. I just hope Stephen keeps daddy in his bird cage till the season ends. If there is one person that can f... up what we currently have going, is Jerry or injuries.

Oh believe me. I'm in only one fantasy league and I thought I was laughing all the way to the bank when I didn't draft a QB, Bortles, until the 8th round. Frankly, he still flirts with the 20 point mark every week, so he's still be worth his draft position. He just hasn't exceeded it. There also haven't been any QBs that make it worth moving away from him. Word on the street is that he really got things rolling in the second half of the season last year. Maybe that holds true this year too.
Jerry is very much like Steinbrenner. He may drive you nuts, but you can at least be loyal to the guy and appreciate the fact that he wants your team to win as much as you do. I couldn't be loyal to a team like the Bengals, Browns or Titans if I lived in those respective cities or for whatever reason happened to choose them as my team. If the owner doesn't care if they win, why should I? Jerry would sign the devil himself if he thought it improved the team. I've also heard nothing but good things about his loyalty and kindness to the players who play for him.

This thread is a lot of fun to read through with the benefit of hindsight.
