That McCoy firing is interesting. He was dealt a tough hand in San Diego, but I guess with them probably relocating and all I can't really blame them for wanting to start anew. How do you feel about it, bw?

Bye bye Chip. I bet he returns to the college game, it's pretty clear he's not a good NFL coach.

Any good landing spots for him in college?

I can't imagine he would be short of options. Just a few that come to mind that would likely offer him are Arizona, Texas A&M, UCLA, maybe even Notre Dame

The other schools: Oregon, Texas have already hired coaches. I think he could really flourish at a school like ASU.

he wouldnt go to notre dame, academic requirements would really handcuff him when it comes to recruiting players that fits into his offense.

he probably sits out for a year since it is deep into recruiting season already and schools unlikely to change coaches.

Right here. It had to be done.

I agree. He sits, gets paid and waits. And he's not going to Notre Dame even if he has an Irish surname. They already have a Kelly.

Looks like Jim Irsay has had enough of Pagano. Tried to get John Gruden and Peyton Manning to come aboard.

It's been going downhill. The defense and offensive line has regressed. They have luck but that's about it.

Is Jason Garrett the right guy to lead the Cowboys going forward with this offense and these rookie Lions? Once again it appears to me Garrett and his staff were not prepared in the first quarter and a half and got down 21 - 3 before starting to play. Find it so hard to believe they didn't anticipate Rodgers going no huddle and not being prepared for it.

Garrett did not get the rock into Zeke's hands. He should be fired for that colossal failure
