Such is the life of an NFL team having to pay an above average player.
I think Alec will be a great 2nd MLB in a 3-4 scheme. Next to a former safety though....you end up with the 27th ranked rush defense, and that's AFTER barely letting Seattle get past the line of scrimmage last Sunday.
One of the last "great" acts by Jeff Fisher was to re-sign Mark Barron for $9 million per year. Could hardly pay Ogletree less than that.
