Miami making a good move here depending on how the rest of the off-season turns out.

DE is already deep in Miami, should’ve kept their pick but he has value, no doubt about that.

Tampa would’ve been better IMO.

Rams sold high, which was a good idea. Especially considering his contract.

He had a back injury the past few years and is a shell of his former self. I was somewhat surprised just because we are laughably short on pass rushers at the moment, but a good move.

I thought Quinn was noticably worse this year.. think the Rams just fleeced a desperate team. Miami.. I just have no idea what they are doing. They are turning into a modern-day, early-Snyder Redskins. Suh isnt Haynesworth, but they just keep throwing money at problems and not understanding why it doesnt work out.

What they need to do is stop wasting draft picks and stop signing players to extreme contracts, and start carving out an identity. Right now, who knows what that is. But add this to many, many questionable moves (Suh, tagging Landry which they almost surely will rescind, trading for Stills, bringing in Cutler for a year instead of embracing the tanking gods).. just draft better. No more Tannehill's at 11.

He got hot in the 2nd half of the season and ended up with 8.5 sacks. Without looking though I think he had something 6 sacks in his last 6 games. His pass rush % numbers were pretty solid, but he didn't play a ton of snaps.

It's tough because he's still young, but I think because of the injuries he had he's on the downside of his career...but his age probably makes Miami think he could still reignite his prime.

I agree with you though about this being a bad move for Miami. After the trade I thought I would check out Miami's cap situation and was shocked. No way they should want to pay Quinn that much money with having no cap space.

Damn Suh, Wake and now Quinn? That’s a dynamic defense front right there.
