per wiretap:
Stewart claimed by Cubs: Outfielder Shannon Stewart was claimed off waivers by the Cubs, according to a high-placed major-league source.
"I heard something like that," Stewart said before flying with the A's to Detroit. "I really don't know what to say about it. I like the guys here. I like the team here."
The A's can either negotiate a trade with the Cubs or pull back Stewart from the waiver wire.

I was pissed when I heard we gave up Blevins. We basically maybe upgraded catcher a bit and lost a good prospect in the process.

Back in 2005, Scotty was a great player.
Him and Iguchi were a great 1, 2 combination.
Until Soriano comes back, I can see Scotty and Theriot being a great 1,2 combination.
I sure hope we go after Casey Blake instead of Podsednik.
The White Sox will probably try and rip us off for Podsednik since they don't want us to win.

"Cubs GM Jim Hendry said Saturday he still had live claims heading into Monday, but added he's comfortable with the current shape of his roster and isn't expected to make a deal."
What the hell Jimbo? Comfortable, you're team is showing no consistency without Ramirez and Soriano. I know that Baconator makes you feel good, but your roster shouldn't.

I have no idea what any of this means, or what you're trying to argue.

He's just trying to show how Podsednik helped the Sox lineup.
Burrell would be a good pickup. Although Murton is doing pretty well right now, Burrell could be an upgrade as long as we don't give up Jeremy Blevins again, JIMBO

And here is Pat...

There is also a very ghey picture of him on google images.
