Chiefs: defending division champs, Mahomes will be ready after watching for a whole year, lost Peters but getting Eric Berry back
Broncos: Their defense is still excellent, all they need is competent QB play and they may have that with Keenum. Not to mention they have a very good WR core in DT, Sanders, and Courtland Sutton
Raiders: Down year last season for Oakland and Carr, but I think John Gruden can get him back on the right track. Carr was an MVP canidate in 16-17

It´s hard to predict imo because the Chiefs switched from a defensive-minded team to a high octaine offense, lead by a 2nd year gunslinger.
The Broncos might have the best team on paper, but QB wasn´t their only issue last year.
Same can be said about the Raiders. They have talent but can´t put in on the pitch (and I don´t think Nelson, Bryant and Lynch will be a good core for Carr).
So overall, if the Chargers are able to compensate another year without Jason Verrett and have a good start, they really have a shot for the #1 spot in the AFC West.
