I saw the last post on the last page and almost quoted and said something similar. It will be very nice if they fade fast.

So Sark and the offense start clicking and then everyone on our defense dies. Such is the life of an Atlanta fan. Also, I hate OT coin flips.

Damn - I was on here for less than 5 minutes and Malwarebytes blocked 5 attempts to access my PC this morning.
Sorry RealGM - but this site is WAY too unstable for me to continue to post here. If you aren't interested in fixing your issues, then I wish you well. For those of you on this forum, find me on Twitter. I'm deleting the shortcut to this place in my bookmarks.
Peace.

After 4 years, I think I'm with you Otis. This football site hasn't grown in the 4 years I have been here and is downright boring and dead for the most part.

There are a few answers to this question lol: the main one is that with the high temps, teams are opting to wear white in the heat to make the other team wear their colors. That's why Florida teams do this. It's partially why the Rams do it, but the other reason is for historical context (waaaay back in the day Rams wore white when the colors were navy blue and white), and also because while we wait for the new stadium, we will be changing our colors when it opens.
Until then we had to wear that ugly combo last season - but for this year, the good news is that we got approval by the NFL to wear the canary and royal blue as our other jersey. So we will be wearing the white on white, blue/yellow and then color rush twice.

That was good game. I did not expect our defense to get lit up like that, even without Peters and Talib for parts of the game.
Having a hard time allowing so much time to pass at times and so many yards rushing with $50 million invested on the DL. I didn't think edge rush would be an issue but I was wrong - that might come back to bite us if Ebukam doesn't develop into a league average starter.
Despite the Rams having a lead almost the whole game, this was stressful. Didn't expect our offense to play so well (although those two turnovers hurt) and expected the D to play better.

Yeah, I was thinking in September it probably has some to do with heat for some teams, but especially when the opposing team has similar colors and everyone in the stand is in the team's colors, it seems odd for home teams to wear white unless they always have like the Cowboys and a couple others.

I was shocked after the interception in the endzone a touchback wasn't called. I noticed he was near the pylon and went to the outside or it when running out (even if the foot landed past the pylon).....I originally was a little worried it could be a safety because I forgot so I looked up the rule to make sure running out of bounds from your own end zone with the ball after a turnover is a touchback, and was relieved to see it was.
Then they come back and rule it at the 1 and can't do anything and get a punt blocked for a td. That ball spot really hurt them.

The Bucs got robbed today by the refs. All these wacky tacky calls got 2 touchdowns overturned .

Re: Week 3 Matchups and Games Discussion
Catching up with the Sunday games...why do people act like Dak is any good at all? He had a good rookie year behind a god offensive line and an elite RB. Now that the RB has been either absent or regressed, and the offensive line is merely "good" and isn't amazing, he hasn't even been mediocre...he's been awful. He was bad last year, and he's been bad so far this year.

It's funny that pople always compared them to the Spurs of the NBA and similar to how the Spurs seem headed to a steep decline now, so do the Patriots.
Brady is their Duncan. And he's starting to lose it imo.

Patriots are going to be just fine once Edelman comes back and Gordon gets acquainted to that offense. They're still the top dogs of the AFC East imo, and I think they'll prove that as early as this weekend.

It's an interesting situation. All turnovers are reviewed so you have to assume that he did in fact go out at the 1. I thought he might have and was hoping that was the case, obviously.
