Actually, the problem is the average football fan doesn't realize these games are scripted for maximum profit. That ball wasn't blocked. It was missed on purpose. I don't see anyone touching the ball because no one did. The announcers didn't see anyone blocking the ball either. It also wasn't shown being blocked immediately after the game. The media started saying it was blocked a day later, but that doesn't make it true. It wasn't blocked. Nobody who watched that game said it was blocked. I watched the Bears post game show and nobody said it was blocked. Cody Parkey himself didn't say it was blocked, so what in the hell are you talking about? Maybe the problem is you!

Wouldn't maximum profit be having the 3rd biggest TV market in the country advancing? I'm confused.

Blocked or not, he's a bad kicker. He's missed 10 kicks this season: 7 FGs, 3 extra points.

Hell, no! All of the money is in sports betting. The NFL has long-term TV deals in place with every major network, so it doesn't matter who plays on television. They're getting paid the same amount off television no matter who plays. The NFL is rigging games to make the most money possible off of sports betting. The winners and losers are predetermined, so nothing is left to chance. The NFL made a lot of money off of Chicago Bears fans, who bet the Bears would beat the Eagles. Just like they made a lot of money off of Dallas Cowboy fans, after the Rams beat the Cowboys by more than 7 points. It doesn't matter if the Bears are in a major market or if the Cowboys are America's team. There's more money in getting fans to bet on them to win in losing efforts. This is the same reason the Patriots lost the Super Bowl the year they went undefeated in the regular season. The NFL would have missed out on too much money if they won. This is not a conspiracy theory. This is how the NFL maximizes profits.

Lol you beat me to it. Plus I’m sure the casinos and bookies are lining up to hand the NFL their profits. Sheesh.

Are you slow? If you know the winner of each game, why would you take the points? The NFL rigs games to make money on the ML.

The Eagles were selected to win that game by the NFL before the Bears even took the field, so the Eagles ML was the big winner.

The NFL made money on the Eagles ML. Anyone who bet on the Bears winning, which seemed like a sure thing, took a loss.

Actually, the casinos have a working relationship with NFL and other professional sports leagues to make all of their sports betting profits. Maybe you should open your eyes and see what's going on. Casinos are sponsoring the NFL, the Raiders are moving to Las Vegas, and casinos are getting stats and information directly from the NFL. The NFL and casinos are business partners. Wake up!

You obviously don't know how sports betting works. Stick to the flat earth forums, kiddo.

I don't know how sports betting works, but I've successfully bet on the winning Super Bowl team 8 years in a row. Can you top that? I don't think so. The NFL is rigged and I'm taking full advantage.

Did I say the Eagles wouldn't have covered the spread? No! I said the game was rigged for the Eagles to win and it was.

The Eagles vs Bears opened at -6. During the week it was lowered to -5.5, which means the books wanted more people to take the Bears. It was a suckers bet. Anyone who bet on the Bears to cover the point spread or win the game was going to lose because the game was rigged. The game wasn't just rigged with a failed kick at the end. The game was rigged from the beginning to the end.

All NFL games are rigged. The NFL is a sports entertainment company like the WWE. This is why the owner of the WWE wants to start his own football league. It's the same exact business model. The games are scripted from start to finish. The refs, coaches and key players (mostly quarterbacks, kickers and defensive backs) are in on it. You may think this sounds crazy, but it's true.
