Lateral move, at best imo. If it's an upgrade, it isn't much. I would think they cut Keenum and still draft a QB rather early, either 1st or 2nd, possibly using that 2nd to trade up into very late 1st if there is one that has fallen. I just wouldn't trust Elway making the right pick at QB.

I think they'll forgo drafting a qb early altogether. Flacco definitely isn't the answer in the short or long run, but this years qb class is weak. I think Elway sees that hence the desperate move to trade for Flacco.

Yeh he has really missed particularly at qb...Siemian, Osweiler, Lynch, Keenum. Heck the one year they won the Super Bowl he had Manning playing some the worst football of his career.
