Peyton ain't leaving New Orleans. Riley will stay in College. I think you'll have to settle for Kris Richard.![]()
That division is god awful. You're very fortunate that the Cowboys are going to host a playoff game.

For niners I worry more about Baltimore and Seattle than New England or New Orleans, but NE is the best until proven otherwise.
Cowboys are as pretender of a team as they come. Wins over Giants, Redskins, Dolphins, Eagles, Lions dont impress me the slightest. If they played in any division aside from the weakest in the NFL, they wouldn't be close to a playoff team.

Your statement about the Cowboys should apply to the Patriots too. Who have they beaten that was any good, other than that lucky win against the Bills?

I mean I hear what you are saying, and I'm definitely not as confident in the Pats as years past. The thing with the Patriots is that I get the feeling they are sleeping through the regular season. The offense is definitely a concern because they have very limited weapons outside of James White/Edelman. But in January in Foxborough, I think the only team that can beat them in Baltimore. If they have to go through Baltimore (which is looking more likely) ill have to knock them down again.
Obviously my statement was before last nights game. That said, the Patriots have beat the teams that were put in front of them. They were 10-1. The Cowboys are 6-6. If they were 8-4 and at least pulled out 2 of the hard wins, I would feel better about them but they haven't.
And after Thursdays game I stand by what I said. They are lucky they play in the worst division in football and the Eagles couldn't take advantage of an awful Miami team. Cowboys will make the playoffs and be an easy 1st round out, the Pats will make it to the AFC Championship to see what a rematch looks like vs the Ravens.

I know my response was midway through last night's game, but I've been saying that I don't believe in the Pats or Cowboys all season due to their schedules. I just can't see them ranked nearly that high (and couldn't before last night's game) based on this season.

That fair. I think its fair at this point to put Baltimore ahead of them, I just don't see anyone else in the AFC. And i've always been a huge fan of the Texans, so i hope they can repeat that performance in January.
OT: you guys got robbed yesterday. My GFs dad was over my house and there was 1 minute left, I was going against Lindsay in FF with playoffs on the line so I decided to turn it on. Hes a Dolphins fan, I'm a Niners fan. We were both yelling at the TV on that last call. I didn't think that was enough to call a last second PI

Yeah, the Chargers blow every game this year on something stupid like that. I think they have lost all their games by 7 pts or less. I guess at least they should get a good draft pick. Should probably take an OL in first round and maybe a QB in the second. Rivers looks close to done. At this point, I'd rather start Tyrod Taylor next year, who is more mobile and already led the Bills to the playoffs and then maybe a new QB the following year. I wouldn't mind Rivers if they drastically improved the OL but they never seem to do that.

Yea, he looks pretty cooked but its hard when you are not a mobile qb and get no time in the pocket. I heard they are considering benching him, I think you just ride it out and go into next year with a new guy. Its just crazy because last year you guys were 12-4, I was expecting a breakout year from Mike Williams and Hunter Henry and that we would see the Chargers deep in the playoffs again.

Both of those guys have been good. I think they had Tyrod warming up to try and motivate Rivers into playing better and being less careless after a bad interception. He did play better the rest of the way.
