A win/win for both teams.

IIRC that pick turned into Josh Jacobs.

Since Jacobs missed almost half a season last year due to injury, we at least got the better end of the deal so far.

Jacobs is a stud man. But Cooper has worked out so far. Win/win.

Except the few times the clapper had him on the bench on 4th down when the game was on the line. I don't think McCarthy will have Cooper on the side line if those situations occur again. :wizard:

Cooper put up huge numbers, got himself a big contract.

But did the Cowboys win playoffs games since that trade?

Only been a couple of years so we will see in the next few years if he makes a difference in games which count.

Likewise, jury is still out on whether Mack will make a difference to the franchise. He's certainly won games for the Bears and put up great numbers.

Of course these huge contracts rarely turn the franchise around. Watt's deal didn't. Nor did all the big contracts that ARod got.

Mahomes may win again but he may win before his huge contract kicks in in 2022. Because by then, the Chiefs may have to cut some other stars or decline to keep them.

Rams gave a lot for Ramsey. Not even clear they will give him a huge extension.

Does it really matter if they do? If the guy produces. That's all that really matters.

The Bears problem isn't Mack. It's the pick of Trubisky.

Baseball doesn't have a Salary Cap.

They will. But Ramsey doesn't elevate them to that level imo.

Aaron Rodgers.

He maximized the money he could get but the Packers couldn't put together a complete team after their one SB team.

So what's the argument?

Adams will get paid at some point. As he should.

Consensus around the league seems one first rounder would have been fair, maybe add a mid round pick if deal was completed before the last adams comments.
