Cmon cactus, the Lakers to many others, sure. But 7 gamer Celtics v raps was strong. Murray vs Mitchell 7 gamer, was also strong. Even Phoenix and Indy games had awesome displays of basketball.

Not to get too off topic, but the bubble (w/out fans) was like watching glorified pickup games.

Plus its practically impossible for the NFL to create a bubble. Not just the fact that there are 32 teams and each team has a coaching staff that is bigger than an NBA roster and a NFL roster is 4x the size of a NBA roster. The amount of space needed for a NFL bubble is just way too much. You need a place that has the space of 32 football fields so teams can all practice. Even if you split it up in 4 groups, youre still talking needing to find 4 places that can house 8 NFL teams plus all the medical and TV personnel. Then again needing to find 4 places that has 8 football field size places for teams to practice.

Yes, the NBA created a successful bubble. But the games we're still boring af.

Heck no . The NBA bubble was perfect and alot better than I can imagine. Mitchell vs. Murray, Jokic vs Gobert. Luka vs the super team Clippers. The Nuggets upsetting the Clippers from being down 3-1. Heat dominating and upsetting the Bucks. Raps vs Celtics going to game 7. This bubble was gold. I'll admit down the stretch it got a little boring. The WCF and the finals were pretty boring but everything else was dope.

Why is there no game today?

Covid test came back positive. So they pushed it back to Sunday.

Totally agreed with Papi & Lakeshow NBA Bubble was **** awesome

so was the NHL Bubble. zero positive tests they knew what they were doing.

Good point by Dukelife, I don't know what the answer is but it's not what they are currently doing(the NFL).

I still have a *strong* feeling it's going to go sideways/pear shaped at any moment.

There were fans...just virtual, but they were there. There were definitely some good and great games and a few great series. I think the NFL is much worse without fans than the NBA.

I think the NFL, overall, is doing pretty well with COVID. Sure, problems with 2 or 3 teams, but that's it so far through almost a third of the season.

It's just not the same without a packed arena unfortunately. Felt too much like Summer League games. I thought the virtual fans element was really tacky if I'm being honest.

At least with the NFL, they still feel like actual games being played in real stadiums.

I think with the NFL it also has the feel of a practice game....I am just used to the crowd noise really being a factor in NFL games and you hearing the stadium stuff.

Of course I'm not used to crowd noise in either sport being a Suns and Chargers fan.

Not having a crowd really takes away from the experience in most sports. Baseball might be the one team sport that isn't so negatively affected by this.

I guess in my experience the games are just as watchable because I'm a Football junkie.
