Pederson is trash for pulling Hurts in a winnable game. I changed as the channel as soon as that happened.

I don't have a problem with it. Did anyone else see the Eagle offense after his second rushing touchdown? I mean, c'mon.
Drive 1 (with 1:51 left on clock at start of drive, Washington score a TD before half):
3 plays, 0 yards, 23 seconds, Hurts 0/3
Drive 2:
3 plays, 7 yards, Hurts 0/1 1:29
Drive 3:
8 plays, 30 yards, Hurts 3/5 for 11 yards, 1 Rush for 4 yards 4:34
Drive 4:
7 plays, 11 yards, Hurts 0/3
Look at that. That's as ugly as humanly possible.
3/12 for 11 yards in four drives, and we're going to act like it was some type of egregious thing to bench Hurts? Obviously Sudfeld was disastrous, but I don't think it's totally unfathomable to see how Hurts was playing and hope a fresh look helps your ball club. It's wild to me that all of these analysts are blasting this decision while Jalen Hurts stat-line sits at the bottom of the screen looking ugly as all hell.

Except this move had nothing to do with his play. Eagles just wanted to gain 3 draft spots and they compromised their lockeroom in the process.
I just don't understand the Eagles decision to not play Sudfeld from the start. If they genuinely didn't care about winning, then they should have just played him the whole game to see how he manages. Pulling a guy (Hurts) who is seemingly a big part of your future, in a close game where guys are trying to win is just bad optics. Doug Pederson pretty much lost his locker room on Sunday, why should any of the guys on this team give it their all when their coach didn't?

I don't think anyone is in a position to say, unequivocally, that this "had nothing to do with his play." That lines looks terrible. Hurts wasn't out there kicking ass and taking names. The dude wasn't hitting guys in the numbers. I agree that the optics are bad, but there's a flip side to this. If Sudfeld comes out and has a decent game, NOBODY is even talking about this. Instead the conversation is, "Could Sudfeld be the answer in Philly?" "Sudfeld heroics sends bitter divisional rival into playoffs," etc.
