Or you know the competition in this league is far better than your other leagues and you won't make out with the bank as easy.

It's fine. It's not for everyone. This is why we're having a discussion.

Lol, that doesn't work on me...

I had to tell my IRL friends i'm leaving 1 of their leagues where its 6 keepers and I have Henry, Tyreek, Aaron Jones, Godwin, Ridley, and plenty of guys to choose for my 6th keeper.

I'm already in dynasty, 2 re-draft and I commission my own league thats 3 keepers. Its just too much work, and I've gotten tired of having to root against guys on my team because I'm going against them in other leagues. Makes me sick lol

I feel ya - that’s why I can’t be in more than 2 leagues. Rooting against your own guys kills the fun for me when you’re in too many leagues

A few weeks ago I had Diontae/Harris in 1 league going against my friend down by 35. Same guy had Friermuth/Diontae going against me down 30 in another league.

I'm thinking okay, I need Najee to do good, Friermuth to suck, and Diontae to just be good enough.

The entire game i'm rooting against diontae getting some big TD. I end up losing both leagues, Diontae did okay, Najee did okay but not enough, and Friermuth went off.

This is just one example of what I hate. But I deal with it literally every week. I can't stand it.

Same. I'm in two other money leagues outside of this league and even that feels like one too many.

I play in 8 - 10 money leagues every year. I have no problem. It keeps me fully engaged, keeps my mind occupied for 21 weeks and enjoy every week and day of it. Only a young Raquel Welch could I get more enjoyment from.

What’s up, thoughts on what? The 2QB thing or the money buy in thing?

bluejerseyjinx wrote:We would love input from all 10 owners when you get a chance regarding making possible changes for next year. Do we want to make it a money league for next year? Should we Keep it a 10 team league, 8 or 12? What possible setting changes would you all like to see? 1/2 ppr. full ppr, 2 QB, extra flex, or something else on your minds?

Do you like the ESPN format? As things are? Or would you prefer something different? Now is your chance to share your opinions.

Im cool with the format. I prefer the Super flex over just a standard 2nd QB. I do prefer money leagues, but if people want to keep this one free that is cool with me. I just like the money leagues because just feels like a little more is on the line.

Honestly the biggest change I would make is to go away from waiver orders and go to the FAAB. I think that is a more fair and more strategic way of doing free agent pickups.

So are we voting on any changes? And if so, are the votes going to be public or private

Yeah, I prefer super flex with the OP option instead of a for sure 2nd QB and extra flex positions. Definitely more good QBs than RBs, so I hate to see so many good QBs/players sitting on benches, however it can also be a risk to play them as they often have bad games against tough Ds or a few INTs and end up with 7 points or something. Heck, my worst team is one I took Allen and Mahomes with first two picks, out of my 7 teams. So still strategic since more a lot more WRs probably end up with more pts than QBs on a weekly basis.

I sure hope so. Everything from Roster, money and settings. I would love to see some changes.

I also want to add and I'm sure this is already a given, but if someone is mostly inactive for the year, I think his spot should be opened up for someone new if they want too join.

Looks like we are not going to have a league in here next year. After reading all these posts I can tell Jack is frustrated with everyone all looking out for themselves and having their own agendas. We forced the only decent Mod we had in here to take a break from the forum. You should all be proud of yourselves.

One of the reasons for what? We both take jabs at one another all the time, it's all in good fun. He knows that.

The whole purpose for this thread was for people to express the changes they want to see heading into next season, I think everyone here has been open minded and accommodating. Jack will be back, stop being so overdramatic.

This goes way beyond just the fantasy league and ribbing we all give each other from time to time. Its time you comprehend that if your any kind of a decent person. Jack is the reason I joined here 8 years ago and the reason I've stayed. When he goes, others will go including me and you can take everything over.

Am I missing something here? What makes you think Jack isn't participating anymore? You realize people have lives outside of this place right?

Me and a handful of other consistent posters have been holding down the NFL Board for years now. People come and go, we'll find replacements if people dropout. That's how these things work.

I'm down for whatever man. I really enjoy this league. I'm down to adapt to whatever
