This is shaping up to be an absolute classic

If UGA scores a touchdown here, then Bama comes back with a quick score to push it to OT. This would be coming close to USC vs Texas territory of all time great games.

Why not go for 2 there?

Ya I was thinking the same thing. Go for 2 and if you get it you’re 2 possessions up. If you miss, you’re still up by 7. I would’ve gone For 2. But guess UGA trust their defense to not allow a TD and a 2pt conversion. Can’t blame them, this defense has been elite all year.

But ya I would’ve gone for it.

Ringo is another guy that is going to be good down the road. The combination of size and speed for a DB is damn good.

Man you gotta love college sports. There is just another level of emotions going on during these games.

College basketball needs to get this back. All the blue bloods are filled with guys that are only in town for like 6-8 months. It’s great seeing guys who have been there for 3-4 years and all the emotion they have. Just adds another layer to everything.

Haha it makes me an expert on how shallow it feels to root for OAD guys.

The best thing about the 2015 championship was seeing Cook win the championship. Seeing that kid be there for 4 years and seeing him leave as a champ was great to see.

Agreed. It's the one thing holding the sport back.

Anyone else think that trophy is kind of lame looking? You bring in millions & that's the best you can come up with?

Haha ya it’s as basic as you can get. They gotta get themselves a Stanley Cup epic looking thing.

well, you'd be wrong. i only watch iowa games anymore

besides, the playoffs don't do much for me because they are just the same teams every year and they ruined the rest of the bowls

Of course I'm closest to the Rose Bowl. And I still enjoy Rose Bowl games. But thats not the case everywhere around the country.. I'm kinda seeing the picture now, of the what the 4 team playoff does. It does lessen the Bowl season and other bowl games. I dont mind alabama always being there, they truly have been the best team over the past few years, due to the California USC connection. But this Bowl season in particular was just 1 big loss for college football
