Couple of other points about the 13 second drive.

Bills allowed free release on both plays. They could have jammed up the receivers, make Mahomes hold the ball longer and there's less of a chance that they get big RAC.

Even if they got a defensive holding, that's just 5 yards but still burns precious seconds off the clock.

Of course it's risky thing to do trying to jam someone like Hill or even Hardiman because they're fast and if they get free, they can easily get over the top. So you have two safeties back.

Mahomes burned them in the first half when Bills played man defense, just gobbled up huge yards. But he wouldn't' do that with 13 seconds left.

Instead the Bills played a soft zone with players at least 5-10 yards off the LOS. Huge gaps in the seams, especially on that play to Kelce which set up the tying FG.

everyone plays prevent D and I agree they need to be more aggressive. But then they will point you to Bucs bomb blitz not working against rams . It’s a risk either way

Blitzing the slot corner who was on Kupp made no sense to me. The one play the Bucs can't give up is the deep ball, so the Bucs put their safety 1 on 1 with one of the best WRs in the game. Absolutely mind numbing call.

It's not the biggest reason they lost when they scored 2 go ahead touchdowns in the last 2 minutes, but McDermott was too afraid when they kicked it into the end zone. I think you have to take the chance of KC trying to return it and burning 10 seconds just to get to their 40.
