Anyone think I'm nuts taking Kansas City and New Orleans as upset picks that win this week?

I picked them to cover with the points, but the Pats are almost always extremely prepared in week one. That being said, Andy Reid is great off of bye weeks so he's had a lot of bye weeks to prepare.

As an outright upset to win I think that's a little bold for my liking.

really? nobody expected this much but he was all over espn fantasy pages a week leading up to the season as a possible rb1 candidate. i got him in two leagues, not sure why i picked lynch over him here though.

As a Raider fan, that game was terrifying. Hunt looks electric. Smith, now with their QBotF breathing down his neck, is finally making throws he did in college, taking risks. Its going to take a team to really get after Smith, put him on the ground, to stop KC.

On the flip side, possible that the Pats are finally wearing down? They still look good, like playoff good, but I questioned some of their moves - never believed Cooks is a legitimate volume #1 WR, I think their defense is highly suspect (much more so if Hightower is out for extended time), thought Gilmore was a boondoggle at DB.. loved the Gillislee add though, he's going to make a fine Blount. But this is the first significant chink in the armor in the Pats in quite some time.

Kareem Hunt and Tyreke Hill owner checking in. Drafted both in all three of my leagues this year...looking like a pure genius atm. I do get a strong feeling this was a fluke game though.
